One of our absolute favourite nature play ideas is bushwalking. We usually just go for an easy one near where we live, Damper's Creek Reserve in Mount Waverley. It's doable for any ages, pram friendly, generally flat and the distance is doable for toddlers. Bonus point is we always meet friendly dogs during our morning walk at Damper's Creek Reserve because it's an off-lead area. I must say the dogs are very well behaved in this area.
I've designed this scavenger hunt worksheet especially to be used at Damper Creek's Reserve in Mount Waverley. However, I'm sure it can be used for a walk around the neighbourhood and even in the backyard. Let me know how you end up using it! Keen to hear what can you find out of what's listed here.
Download this worksheet from our Homeschooling range of printables or simply type bushwalk in search. It's completely free and available as instant download to be printed at the convenience of your home.
